Your heroism and service is honored today, the 73rd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Game Warden Murchison as a future officer I can't begin to know how thing's were in our great state back then in 1938. As my great great grandfather was the commission when you were taken away from your family and so many lives were forever changed I find myself wondering if you and he knew each other when many hear his story they say he was extrodinary well I think he would say you were the one who was extrodinary. To your family all I can say is You are still remembered and respected and I end by saying to you as a future LEO REST IN PEACE BROTHER WE GOT IT FROM HERE.
