Your heroism and service is honored today, the 12th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

What a horrible tragedy for your family and the Georgia Dept. of Corrections.

Rest In Peace.

mother of fallen officer Larry Lasater

On today, the 11th anniversary of your death, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice-not just for your community, but also for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

I think of the fellow officers who have died because of careless/wreckless drivers every time I see a speeding vehicle, a DUI, or other careless/wreckless act. Correctional Officer Cherrys family and fellow officers are in our thoughts and prayers.
