Reflections for Superintendent Robert L. Taylor
Your heroism and service is honored today, the 22nd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

To a great man, son, father, grandfather and great grandfather:
We miss and love you, and we know that you're always with us. Words cannot describe the pain and emptiness left by our loss. However, my dad still lives on through the love he seeded into our lives that still bears fruit. Your granddaughter has honored your memory by naming your first great-grandson after you. Thank you for being a Godly father who valued his children and grandchildren.
Love Always

Superintendent Taylor,
I am truly sorry that you governers last act was one of complete cowardice. The ultimate judge will not be overruled.

Superintendant Taylor,
On today, the 18th anniversary of your murder, I would like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of the state of Illinois. It's a shame that ex Governor Ryan chose not to do his duty to the state and dishonor your memory by commuting the death sentences of the scum who murdered you.

~~~~~The Broken Chain~~~~~
We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name.~~In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.~~It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of us went with you, the day God called you home.~~You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.~~Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God calls us one by one, the Chain will link again.
God bless you sir. Even though the former Governor commited an atrocity against society, you will never be forgotten as a hero never dies. Thank you for your service.
