Reflections for Customs Agent Joseph Russell Sitter

As far as I know I am the youngest (79) surviving grandson of. Joseph R Sitters . Son of Henrietta Sitters.
Throughout my life I have heard the stories told about my grandfather and admired his courage. He passed long before I was born but his deeds will live forever RIP.

103 years ago. Sitter was my great great uncle.

On the 100th anniversary of his last fight, I was in that canyon.

Rest in Peace Customs Special Agent Joseph Russell Sitter Thank You for your Service and Sacrifice protecting the citizens of The Great State of Texas and the United States of America.

I Pray for Peace for your Family, Friends and the men and women of the U.S. Customs. I also Pray that the hounds of hell forever pursue the scum that murdered you. May they know no peace in the after life. May their graves be infested with thorns and weeds. May they burn forever in the lake of fire!

Amen.

Joseph Sitter was my Great Great Uncle. I've visited his lonely grave in Balentine Texas and wondered what drew him to that place. Rest in Peace.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 95th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

What a travesty of justice that your brutal murderer was able to return to Mexico, retire, and live out his life after having tortured you and your fellow ranger.

mother of fallen officer Larry Lasater
