Reflections for Patrolman Charles E. Schaeffer
You may be as proud to guard the throne of God as you were to guard the cities of men.
We remember, today and every day.
St. Michael be with us.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 99th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Rest In Peace

God rest and keep you, officer. Now and forever.
I have the privilege today of knowing your grandson;
I have read your entry several times and reflected.
I shall do so again. Your sacrifice is not forgotten,
nor are you.
St. Michael protect us.
We remember.
