Your heroism and service is honored today, the 74th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never dimishes respect and you will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

I feel really proud and a little ashamed that our family is finally trying to give our grandfather a place in the history of Montana law enforcement that he surely deserves.

Guard Russell,
On today, the 69th anniversary of your death, I would like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of the state of Montana. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy. There is no tougher job in Law Enforcement than that of a Corrections Officer.
