With out fear, with out question, faced with standing on the deep, dark, abyss of the unknown. Our four pawed officer's do the only thing they know, and do so, with out fear, or a second thought, they jump into it! When they make this selfless leap, I find solace in knowing one of three things WILL HAPPEN. GOD will return the officer to us unharmed, God will see to it the officer will land on their feet, or God will teach the officer how to fly! Dedicated to all K-9 officers, past, present, and future. And with my most heartfelt sympathy for each of these officers handlers, your loss does not go unfelt, or without recognition. Thank you both for your service to humanity.

To Chief Cetran and all the members of the Wethersfield Police Department,
We are deeply saddened for the loss of Thor. He, like too many in the law enforcement family, died doing what he was trained to do. Loyal and highly efficient, he touched the lives of so many in our town in ways that our citizens can't even imagine. Our hearts and prayers go out to those who knew and loved him most. We hope that knowing others appreciate his service will help to support your loss at this time.

K9 Thor:

Thank you for your law enforcement service to the citizens of Wethersfield, Connecticut and to the Wethersfield Police Department. Let us celebrate your accomplishments and remember your selfless sacrifice in the Line-of-Duty. However, death is not the end; it does not have the final say! Now, my furry Comrade-in-Blue, rest easy, we will take it from here! May the Lord God bless you, your family, your friends, and your colleagues always. FURRY BLUE LIVES MATTER!!!

"Well done, good and faithful servant!" [Matthew 25:21 ESV]

Let us Pray: Almighty God, the Wethersfield, Connecticut Police Department was fortunate to receive the gift of Thor from You. Now that he has left this life, please help them cope with his loss with strength and courage. We know that this beloved canine hero no longer suffers, and will live on in the fond memories of his loyal and dedicated law enforcement service for which he was trained. We pray that his accomplishments and unconditional love have enriched the lives of others and that he will forever be remembered by all those who loved and cared for him. Amen
