Your heroism and service is honored today, the 78th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. . My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect and your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace

My Parents, Mark and Dora Boring of Happy valley TN were married on the day this TN officer died. They were married nearly 60 years. Their grandson, Adam Andrews became a Sheriff's Deputy in Paulding County GA and died at age 20 in a car accident in 2006. Having worked in Public Safety, I have deep respect for our fallen heroes...even 75 years later.
