As a father of a police officer I join you to celebrate the life of such a brave man (Luke 20:38) who dedicated the one life our Father who art in heaven gave him to keep us safe. May the Lord recibe his soul were one day all his love ones and the ones who pray for him will join him and many others together with Jesus our King and Lord in eternal peace. Lord hear our prayers. Amen

Rest In Peace Deputy Charles Rivette. Thank you for your 18 years of service to our community, and for coming to work with a professional attitude everyday. You will be sorely missed by your friends, family, and colleagues, as well as myself. Our transportation team will never be the same, as you leave a gap that no one else could ever fill.

I will be praying for your family, and friends everyday so that they will receive peace knowing that you are up there in heaven with Jesus, and they may be re-united again with you one day. God Bless You Sir.

Deputy Rivette, a police officer should be remembered not by how he died but by how he lived! A brave man has left to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you for your years of law enforcement service, to your family, and to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother!
