May they find comfort and support from those around them. May happy moments from the past bring forth precious memories to cherish for a lifetime. May God help heal their aching hearts. Heavenly Father, You commit to us the swift and solemn trust of life: since we know not what a day may bring forth, but only that the hour for serving You is always present, may we wake to the instant claims of Your will upon our lives. In the face of questions without answers, of dreams unfulfilled, of the emptiness that will not go away, we are only compelled to thank You always for lives faithfully lived, for good memories and living hopes. We are reminded as we pray for family and friends who are touched with the feeling of sorrow, that we pray to one who does not let go unnoticed even the falling of a sparrow to earth. We pray to one who weeps for his world, and therefore we come trusting that in life or death, we may find rest and comfort in Him. In Christ Jesus, I pray. Amen.

On behalf of POINT 27, we would like to offer condolences for Deputy Sheriff Eric Otis Ritter. Please know we are eternally grateful for Eric’s service and his ultimate sacrifice.

To honor Deputy Sheriff Ritter, POINT 27 sent 27 Thin Blue Line Dog Tag Necklaces, engraved with “Blessed are the Peacemakers for they will be called children of God” Matthew 5:9, to the Moore County Sheriff's Office in Carthage, North Carolina for Eric’s partner and fellow deputies. POINT 27 sent three Folded Flag Necklaces for Eric’s wife and parents engraved with “Greater Love has no one than this; than to lay down one’s life for one’s friend” John 15:13 for Deputy Sheriff Eric Otis Ritter.

POINT 27 is a Non-Profit organization with a mission to strengthen and encourage members of the Armed Forces, First Responders, and their families, by sharing scripture on Dog Tags and Jewelry called Shields of Strength.

We will never forget and we are forever grateful.
