Avenue of the Fallen

Standing at attention in their class “A“uniforms, badges gleaming and shoes like glass, are your brothers and sisters of Law Enforcement. All of whom have previously paid the ultimate price.
Today, like many others, they welcome you to this wonderful place.
As you march down the Avenue of the Fallen, all eyes focus on you as if to say “it’s OK, you’re with your eternal partners.”
A salute is followed and a tear can be seen on so many faces.
Welcome, you served well.
Now come join us in the ranks, another is coming home.

God bless you and your family and Department brother you are not forgotten Thank you for your sacrifice again a brother taken at the hands of the thug element as I have said before and know that all my Brothers in blue know the punishment will not fit the crime no prison sentence is acceptable a death sentence that is carried out swiftly is only appropriate for the murder of a Police officer . I was shot twice exactly one year ago yesterday by a thug that done thirty years in prison for attempted murder what me my family and Department went through was terrible the pain I feel for my brothers who are being murdered is unsubscribeable and for what there family is going through I know is worse than mine Again I say as I know all my Brothers in blue are saying ENOUGH is ENOUGH to all my Brothers please be careful and God bless each of you Rest in peace my brother

Officer McClain was one of the first officers I was partnered with when I first graduated from the academy. One thing I remember most was him saying "makes these runs and then make it home". Although he didn't make it to his earthly home he most definitely made it to his heavenly home. My brother, you will be missed. Rest easy my 12th Pct brother we will handle from here.

Rest in Peace brother and watch over us. We will protect and serve from here on in your honor.

I fight not for glory or fame, for they are momentary. I fight for those who can't. I fight for Justice. I fight for the oppressed and the down trodden. And if I should lose my life for these just causes, then I have no regrets, For I serve to protect the innocent. It matters not where or when, for evil knows no boundaries. Be it fire, flood, or the threat of tyranny, I will not flee. Justice is my weapon. Faith is my shield. Hope is my armor. Cry not at my passing, for it was my Honor to fight for you. Shed not tears of sorrow, But tears of joy, for now, I stand with God.
