Reflections for Assistant Chief Deputy Clinton Francis Greenwood

My deepest sympathy to the family, friends, and coworkers of Assistant Chief Deputy Greenwood. Very sad to see a man who has dedicated 30 years of his life to serving his community, only to be gunned down by a coward. Rest in Peace Brother.

Clint, your commitment and dedication will keep you alive and strong in the minds and hearts of officers everywhere--and alive and strong to all those, in every walk of life, who had the good fortune to know you, even briefly.

The only time I ever talked to you was by phone several years ago. You said, "I just want to make the profession better. That's all I want." Well, Clint, you did. And you will be remembered always for it.
