Today has not been any easier. Norman was one of the first friends I ever made at UCF and always has been my buddy, my pal and my Norman.
He loved life, friends, family and his career more than most. He lived and breathed for the Orange County Sheriffs position that he worked so hard for.
Norman was nothing but happiness and sunshine when around him. His personality and smile is contagious. I don't know another human being who I can say that about.

I was able to see my friend Norman right before Christmas and we were able to snapped some photos that i will forever treasure.

Norman was so special and we must find happiness in knowing he was needed somewhere else.

I will always remember him as my friend, my Norman squared.

You will be missed Norm. RIP my friend.

Our hearts are broken here in Minnesota and Wisconsin because of the tragic loss of Norman Lewis. I could not hold back the tears when fox news showed the pictures of Norman and fellow officer Debra Clayton . Two brave officers we will surely miss, but the heavens rejoice at their arrival. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with your families and fellow officers and friends . We constantly keep all of our police and fire departments staff in our prayers .
We also have family and friends in the police and fire departments and our military throughout the country. We hold nothing but deep respect for all of you brave men and women and your families .You are all Gods soldiers here on earth, willing to devote your lives protecting us, helping us and sharing with your communities . We thank you ! We join you in honoring Norman .
Mother Theresa one said Spread love everywhere you go.
Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier. I feel like this was a description of Norman, a devoted policeman with a badge of steel and a heart of gold !

Big Norm! I wish I had kept in better contact with you. I am thinking about all of the great memories that I have with you. Ever since I've known you, from the miserable days playing football, or hanging out, or seeing you at church you always had a smile on your face. I will miss your sense of humor and your smile. Please accept my deepest sympathies. Losing someone so close to us is very difficult. May all who are touched from this loss read Revelation 21:3-4. It is comforting to know that God will soon remove everything that causes tears of sorrow. Imagine death, pain and suffering being done away with. Only tears of joy when we welcome our loved ones back to a paradise earth. What a joy it will be to experience this promise very soon. Once again, my deepest condolences to the family and friends.
