Eric just wanted to let you know that Garth and I honored you again this year during the Police Unity Tour. We wore your EOW bracelet for 260 miles from Philadelphia to Washington DC for Police week. I feel so honored to have known you, worked with you, and drank beer with you.
Your daughter is growing so face. Rest easy brother we have been standing the watch in your honor since you went 10-82.

You Will Never Be Forgotten.

John 5:28, 29 - "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

The Sheriffs of Florida and their deputies will never forget the sacrifice you and your family made to uphold our laws and protect society.

Your name has been inscribed on the Florida Sheriffs and the National Law Enforcement Memorial and in our hearts. May you forever rest in peace.

A scripture inscribed on the Florida Sheriffs Law Enforcement Memorial:

"Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called the children
of God." Matthew 5:9

Some ask why do I get these messages of Fallen Officer? Why do I read them? Is it not depressing? If someone is willing to place themselves in Danger and give the Ultimate Sacrifice for my Saftey, the least I can do is read about the Sacrifice, Acknowledge the Sacrifice and Pray for the Soul of the person who made that Sacrifice each and anytime it occurs!

Their Sacrifice was not in Vain! On this site and at the Memorial Wall their Memeriiories will Live on Forever! The least I can do is acknowledge it, Thank that person by Praying for their Souls!

I live in Macclenny Florida/Baker County and would travel to Calahan, Florida/ Nassau Couty many times to shop! I have always held a Postive Report with the Nassau Couty Sheriff's Office! The Security Company I work for works under the Nassau Couty Sheriff's Office during the Conquer de Lance Auto Show!

When going to Ferdedenai Baech I would frequently Stop at the very Gate Gas Station! It is truly Sad when a Person loses their Life! In this instance, we know that this Life loss was not in vain. Many stand on the Thin Blue Line ready to pay the Price for Freedoms we all enjoy!

While Serving in the Military Petty Officer Oliver defended each one of us from enemies foreign and dometic! As a Depty Sherrif He continued to defend each one of on American Soil from those who would threaten us foreign and domestic!

It is said Fereedom is not Free! Someone has to pay that Price! Depty Oliver answered that call and paid that price! Thank You does not seem enough! So I will say the Naval Saying" Fair Winds and Following Seas and be with the -LORD-!

My sister had the privilege to work very closely with Deputy Oliver on patrol and she considered him family, even more so than a brother in law enforcement. I had the honor to met Deputy Oliver once and he came across as an extremely kind, sincere person and I like to think I'm a good judge of character. Rest easy Deputy Oliver, we will take the watch from here. Prayers have been sent to family, friends, and coworkers. You'll never be forgotten, sir.
