Sarge, you gave so much and lost so much, but not as much as those who know and love you best.

A guy I worked with was responding to a call one morning on the bike and collided with a car. The blue lights didn't help him. He survived but it ended his career and it would have been a great career.

Your career is over as well but its even more tragic than my friend. So long as your family and colleagues keep you alive in their hearts and minds, you will never be far from them.
