"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends" (John15:13 KJV). A man I know and respect spoke to the character of Senior Deputy Patrick Dailey. Rest in peace, Senior Deputy Patick Dailey, you will always remain in our prayers. We saw you working tirelessly to make society a better place but that was no to be. With tearful eyes we sadly saw your loving and selfless heart stop beating. Even though your sudden and untimely early death tearfully breaks our hearts, it proves to us God's desire to take for himself one of his and our very best.

We Remember the Officers
We remember the officers who changed our lives,
The men and woman who protected us day and night,
People who respect for their dedication to the cause,
For when faced with danger, they never even pause.
We remember the officers who always stood true,
Whatever the color of uniform, brown gray or blue,
With pride and integrity they say To serve and protect,
For the giving of their life, we offer our respect.
We remember the officers who we never really knew,
Persons strong enough to answer the challenge are few,
With heavy hearts we mourn the officers in eternal rest,
There's more to these people than the badge on their chest.

God, filled with mercy, dwelling in the heavens' heights,
bring proper rest beneath the wings of your Lord,
amid the ranks of the holy and the pure,
illuminating like the brilliance of the skies the soul of Patrick Dailey who went to his eternal place of rest.
May You who are the source of mercy shelter him beneath Your wings eternally, and bind his soul among the living, that he may rest in peace. And let us say: Amen.
