Reflections for Trooper Trevor John Casper

Trooper Casper; May you rest in peace we have your watch from here. John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends

Officer
Mineral Point Police Department, WI

Rest in Peace Trooper Casper. Although I never knew you (retired 19 years) my heart aches with sadness for you and your family. I still care what happens to Law Enforcement Officers and always will. No one will ever know for sure how many lives your act of courage may have saved that day with a grocery store full of people. I see John 15:13 in a couple of posts and yes I sure agree that fits.
To the family of Trooper Casper, you are certainly going through a time of sorrow. God will give you the strength you need to get through this. The thoughts and prayers of my wife and I will be with you.

For Trooper Trevor Casper:

The daily duty of the patrol-officer is one of handling many situations that become routine - until suddenly a cold-blooded killer crosses his/her path. Hesitation can cost the law-officer his/her life and a too-quick response to protect him/her can bring an avalanche of condemnation and a news-media load of unjust accusation. Few in our midst, besides the fighting military man/woman, can grasp what it means to kill or be killed.
We pray for Trevor's family, co-workers, friends and all who care about him. May they be ready to reach-out to one another in the days ahead.
We are proud to render Trooper Trevor Casper - a soldier-of-the-law and one who has clearly demonstrated indescribable courage in the face of what would surely terrify a weaker soul - a final salute.

Cpl. Ralph D. Fiorenza (Ret.)
Pennsylvania State Police

Feel His presence as God answers the prayers of many who have fallen to their knees on your behalf. Since the day of my son's death, I have carried every law enforcement officer and their family in my heart.

Every morning I go to my knees. During that time I pray:

“Lord, Be with all law enforcement officers. Keep them safe and free from harm. They are Your soldiers on the front line of the battle against evil. If one should fall this day - wrap their family in your loving arms. Surround them with Your angels, loving family, friends, neighbors and caring people to comfort them. Ease their pain. Help them to mourn well. In Jesus' name and for Your Glory, Amen.”

I have lifted you and your family to God every morning for over four years. Feel those prayers. God is with you; He knows and will ease your pain.

Our faith helps us to see beyond the grave.
