........... Sgt. 'Kerry' , it's was just about 3 weeks ago since I spoke with him last. I would give him a call every so often to say Hi......sometimes he'd even give me a shout out.......I owe a lot to this man. He helped me get started in law enforcement by giving me a chance to come on board with Loxley Police Dept. thru their Officer Reserve Unit. I have nothing but praise for this man......as I began my 'career' and went thru my interview process, he was not just a Sgt. but a person with feelings. He could be as hard as he needed to be , and also compassionate when the times warranted......He ' held my hand' thru the weapons qualification course and from that day on he became a very special person to me. I worked under him for over 2 1/5 yrs and was proud to call him "MY SGT".... I seen his fairness with everyone who he came into contact with...........

..."Sarge , ( what most of us would call him )....we bow our heads today with sadness in our hearts at your passing, we lift your family up in prayer and ALL of your fellow law enforcement family are on patrol with great sadness in their hearts.......but we know that you'd say, 'hey, keep it straight and be safe out there'...I shall miss you greatly my friend, but I know you'll be on patrol from the Top now......love you my brother.......I stand tall with pride to have worked under you and the Loxley PD........semper fi....

....former Reserve Officer with Loxley PD
