I would like to say that a local police officer in the Binghamton area has lost his life in the line of duty. I am sure he will be remembered by all who knew him and worked with him. My thoughts and prayers are going out to his family the City of Johnson City, the City of Johnson City Police Department and all of Broome County.

May the family and friends be comforted during their mourning. Another officer gone to soon but may there be comfort in knowing that he was a hero and heroes never truly die, he will find a way to look over his coworkers and his family.
