Heart broken once again...I know you are safe in Heaven Deputy Pine. I am praying hard for your family and friends and all those who love you. May God comfort them as only he can when our hearts are broken. Your sacrifice will Never be Forgotten. I know Howard and all the brave officers who have gone on before you; met you at Heavens Gates ready to greet you and show you the Heavenly beat. You will watch over your wife and children for your position in Heave now. Their tears God will hold in His Great Hand. You will see them again...that is Gods promise to those who belong to HIm

Hi my name is Chris and I heard about what happened to deputy pine and my heart goes out to the family of this falling deputy... My prayers and thoughts are with the family and agencies.. No I don't know him but it's sad when we lose someone that will do a job that he did to protect our families.. It's sad but we must go on doing what he did.. Catch these people that are hurting people.. This is no excuse to take anyone's life it's ruthless and harsh.. I've lived here in Florida for over 30 years and when u lose a deputy it's hard regardless if u know him or her.. My heart goes out to this family and I will never forget this... You guys at the OCSO work hard everyday to fight crime and even though I don't live there I can say god bless you all and keep doing what you do... Deputy pine will never be forgotten he will be in our hearts forever.. Thanks

I have never been able to accept loss in my own family. And I know there is nothing I can do for this Officers loved ones. So perhaps all I am doing is trying to help my self . No matter without even knowing the man or his family my heart is heavy. I will pray in the fashion I do , pause and wish for the strength I need but moreover May God give all of his loved ones and friends what they need. With respect and prayers, TJL

It is hard to understand why these things happen to the brave men and women who dedicate themselves to protecting our communities. I only hope that they were called away for a much better reason.
