When I hear the call of the pipes, and the tattoo of the drums as they echo in the hills, I will come and stand the line.
And you should know this, that whether you stand with me or against me, I will fight till the death.
And if The Lord should decide to take me before you, then you should know this.
That my brothers and sons and my sisters and daughters will pick up my sword and continue to stand the line.
For oppression, anarchy and evil shall not prevail, as long as I stand the line.
Today,
Let us remember those warriors who stood beside us,
Today,
Let us remember, we carry their swords.

Even though we have never met, I feel we are family since we share Law Enforcement as our career. May you my brother Rest In Peace (Master Trooper J. A. Walker). I know that we all will keep your family in our hearts and prayers.

Perhaps we have passed eachother on the highway without even knowing, I wish I had the opportunity to meet you, minus the speeding ticket-LOL, BUT you were taking from those you love and who loves you by some-one who at that moment should have taken a split second and consider his actions.

We in Corrections and Law Enforcement mourn your tragic and senseless death; I know that God makes no mistakes and we do not question his work, so I pray You were needed in Heaven on Patrol.

Rest in peace Trooper Walker. My sincere condolences to the family, friends, and Virginia State Police on their loss of this 40 year veteran. Trooper Walker clearly loved this Law Enforcement profession and there is no doubt in my mind he wore that shield with honor.

Trooper Walker was a kind, sincere caring man who took his profession seriously, and above all, wanted to serve and protect the people of Dinwiddie county and Virginia. As one who had dealings with him in Court as an officer of the court, there was no finer public servant and man. As a retired Army officer with 30 years of service, I would have been proud to have him backing me up in any situation. He will be missed.

Wayne Powell (COL, USA, Retired)

My heartfelt prayers go out to the family, friends, and co-workers of Master Trooper Junius A Walker. In a world so in need of men and women who are willing to stand between the good people of our nation and those who would do us harm, Trooper Walker's passing will always be a tragic and terrible loss. May he rest in God's care. Revelation 21:4-5.
