Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Scott Jeffrey Ward

For Deputy Sheriff Scott Ward:

The law-officer responds to domestic disturbance calls and arrives to be the peace-maker, and to provide protection when it is most-needed. This is a call more dangerous that almost any call he or she can arrive upon. We regret that our brother Scott would be the next law-officer to face an assignment that can go wrong it a fraction of a second. Our thoughts are also with those at the scene who took appropriate action to prevent further tragedy.

We pray for Scott's family, friends, co-workers and all who care about him. May they be ready to reach-out to one another in the days ahead.

We are proud to render Deputy Scott Ward, a soldier-of-the-law, a final salute.
