I had the great oppurntunity to meet Leide in 1999.
Leide was one of my Field Training Officers when I was hired at the Pueblo Police Department. This man taught me so much, not only about Police work but about life in general.

After the FTO program, I was blessed with being able to work with Leide set by side on the infamous graveyard relief crew.

Our careers to us to new and better places but we still kept in contact. I remember a few years back when Leide called me and asked me to lunch. He had heard I was having some issues with a Police related incident. We talked for some time and what he told me has helped me progress through those issues. This is what kind of man he was.

I will cherish everything he has taught me and pass those experiences on to younger Police Officers until the day i retire.

Thank You Leido and may you rest in peace my BROTHER!!!
