It is not how you died, but how you lived that made you a hero. Jaime, it was an honor and privilege to work with you and call you friend. Amy, I pray for strength, faith and guidance for your family, and all who knew and loved Jaime. My heart is heavy and saddened by this senseless tragedy. But out of bad comes some good, as we are shown by the Walmart employees who came forward to help, that hero's come from all walks of life. These Walmart employee's are hero's also for putting their lives on the line to come and try to help Jaime. Who ever you are, I thank you for your courage too. God Bless and watch over each and everyone involved. From your former brother in blue...

As a civilian and someone in the medical field, I pray day and night for the safety of our military personnel, firemen and women, and most of all, our law enforcement. My bestfriend's husband works for the Austin Police Department and I always pray for his safety as well as the safety of all the policemen and women. I totally believe in the death penalty and I have no sympathy when someone is killed by senseless people this man who took a life for no reason. May God have mercy on his soul.....
