Detective David White: Thank you for your service to the United States of America as a Veteran and thank you for 9 years of dedicated service to the state of Florida. We all walk that path out our homes each day, knowing that we may have to make the ultimate sacrifice, and we do so with honor, integrity and professionalism. Unfortunately, this day, you were called upon to do that. My heartfelt condolences to your family and friends, and to your fellow officers, I need to say nothing, as I know they will still answer those calls tomorrow, and will do so with heavy hearts, but with pride and honor, just as you would have done. To all fellow officers of Detective David White, I offer my condolences. Remain strong and proud. Detective David White...10-42. Your fellow officers have the watch from here.
