I was blessed to have known steve. He trained on my squad and worked for me after training. He was a fine officer and was always willing to go the extra mile for his fellow officers and the community. We that knew him are better people for the experience...He will be missed. It is my prayer that God will place his hand of comfort and protection over your friends and family. You fought the good fight, and you answered the call to serve, even when the call had a hefty price to pay. You can rest in peace, for your brothers and sisters in law enforcement will continue your service.
