I want to extend my deepest sympathy to Brad's wife, children, parents and family. Brad did several ride alongs with me in pre and post academy, which began our friendship. I have always looked forward to seeing him at work, especially to continue our typical making fun of each other. On the occasion that we would be on a call together, I would tell people he was a part of a high school/PD exchange program. My last memory of Brad was the night he passed, we talked for awhile before I left work.

It was typical of Brad- he tried to run me over in the parking lot then spent several minutes joking back and forth with me. Our conversation ended with him flashing his mischevious smile and calling me lazy.

I have appreciated his friendship over the years and will miss him. I pray that God will send comfort to his wife, children, family and friends in the way only He is able.

God bless,

Brad, I will always remember you and the way that you handled yourself on any type of call. I remember the conversations we had on call and in the parking lot of GTWY. You will be missed and remembered forever, your crooked smile and great attitude. Your remided me of why I became a police officer after 19 years, you kept me thinking of the citizens we served and the other officers we were there to protect. I will miss you Brad Jones and I will do whatever I can to carry on your memory. RIP brother and IN VALOR THERE IS HOPE!!!

Taking cover... shots fired, then you hear that sound. The unmistakable crackle of the radio, the feared words...'Officer Down'.

One more fallen comrade, the number continues to grow. Sorrow fills our heart, trying not to let the anger show.

Waging a daily battle, out there trying to win the war. Never knowing what you'll encounter, on this stop or from behind that next door.

One more fallen comrade, is gone and out of our sight. Yet guiding us from up above, always riding on our right.

May God Bless and be with the family of officer Brad Jones

RIP Brother
