Reflections for Police Officer Trevor Scott Phillips

I come to this site periodically hoping that I will not find any more deaths of police officers than my last visit to the site. Sadly this is not the case.

I would first like to give my heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the family, friends and fellow police officers of Trevor Scott Phillips.

I am not a police officers, although I have family that have served and continue to serve in that capacity. As I looked at the list of men and women that have made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of others I am so sad. These are good men and women with family, people that care and contribute to their communities. I can only hope and pray that the next time I come to this site I will not see any more names after this good man, Officer Phillips.

Thank you to all of you that serve and may God Bless you all and may you all always be in the Grace of God.

May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
And rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.

We will miss you Trevor and you will always remain in our hearts. Trevor was a great Officer, person, and friend.

Place a light in your window, make sure it is blue
Reminding friends, an officer gave a life for you
Give light to their remembrance, the color is sad
To family left by officers who knew them as Dad
It isnt the money, most definitely not the hours
They arent comic book heros with unnatural powers
Theyre simply human beings who place life on the line
Place a blue light in your window, let their memory shine!

Thank you so much Trevor for everything you sacrificed for our community. All of the long hours and sleepless nights have not gone unnoticed. Enjoyed all the times we hung out together. You are already missed by many but you will never be forgotten! We know you will be watching over our town. My deepest sympathies go out to your family and all of your brothers in blue at the TPD.

"A Policeman was killed last night"

A policeman was killed last night.
He died while protecting your rights.
His creed was to protect and serve.
This fate he didn't deserve.

A mom and dad have lost a son.
So many other jobs he could've done.
His wife and kids are left alone.
Their daddy won't be coming home.

His fellow officers are hurt so deep.
For a fallen brother they weep.
The morning paper will print a story.
About a policeman who died in glory.

The flags will fly at half mast.
Politicians and citizens will seem sad.
The funeral is tomorrow at noon.
It will all be over very soon.

By next week they will have forgot.
That a policeman was killed last night.

RIP my brother. You will not be forgotten.
