My heart aches for the Szuba family and the Mishawaka Police Dept. They lost two of their very own. Corporal Szuba, I am a retired from the USN as a MA1 Military Working Dog handler. My sincere condolences to your family and to your fellow officers of your department. I am so sad to know that the officer and his canine partner were needlessly killed. What a loss to all of us in the community. It is my hope that a fund will be created to bring another canine to the Mishawaka Police Department.
