Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Border Patrol Agent Robert Wimer Rosas, Jr.

It is so easy for all of we citizens whom you serve to forget how much you put on the line for us each and every day.

I am so sorry.

I am truly sorry you died like that. I know how lonely it can be out there in Campo. May God bless you and keep you and your family in his hand, now and forever. Thank you for your service to our country, may it not be in vain.

Thank you, brother, for your service to our country. Last night was one of the most gut-wrenching nights of my career in the Patrol. I barely knew you, and your death has had such an impact on my own personal reflection on life. Unfortunately, it's the hard-chargers...the ones that take to heart their oath of office, that often give much more than just their fair part of the fight.

Your wife and beautiful children are in my prayers. Rest assured that all is being done to bring to justice those directly, and if we have our way, indirectly, involved in your murder.

Charlie 255, 10-7.

God bless you, brother. Keep an eye out for the rest of our brothers who'll have to go back to working the AOR, back to walking that same trail, tracking the same type of cowards that did this. I pray your death is not in vain. I pray that as an Agency, we learn so much from this incident, that we don't give it the chance to happen again.
