R.I.P. brothers, we will take it from here........I know the loss that your family will feel over the next few days, weeks, months and years as I lost my brother in the line of duty 07-09-07. The support you family will recieve from your fellow law enforcement officers will help the pain they will feel. Protect the streets of heaven until we can all see you again......

Burt was a great man and friend to all whom he came in contact with. He was a humble presence wherever he went and had a deep faith in God. I will surely miss him around the neighborhood and value the times we shared "UFC fight nights". Most importantly, he was a great husband and father to his children. We have lost a great man.
