Reflections for Police Officer Mark A. Beck

I ask God to help your family and friends find peace at this most terrible time. I know that a day will come when the tears will stop when they think of you And then a smile will come to there face because you will never be forgotten. See no one is ever gone as long as someone remembers. Thank you so much for your service. Now rest in peace. You are a true HERO.

Prayers are with you and your family - family members, please take care of his K9 partner. I hope he survives. Being a K9 handler, I know if my day comes and my partner survives me, I would want to know that he was always taken care of properly - just like his handler took care of him.

God be with you.

To the family and friends of Officer Beck,

May the Lord Jesus wrap his arms around you all and hold you tightly, letting His love ease your pain and helping you to see that Mark is in a better place and that you should honor him by celebrating his life and all that was good in it.

He may not have spoken of the credo that we all silently strive to achieve.."to protect and to serve", but his heart was there every day the uniform went on.

Take care and know my prayer for all of you is peace of heart and mind.

Metra Police Department, Chicago, IL
