What a sad and tragic case. When a cop killer is brought to justice, I usually feel a measure of satisfaction and relief. Feelings I'm sure victims' experience as well. In this case, there doesn't seem to be ANY type of closure. One brother, lay dead, the other in jail. At least we can all find solace in the fact that Officer Brian will FOREVER be a hero and will NEVER be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Evans family and all of their friends.

I usally simply say rest in peace and that says it all, however, I have no words to console during a situation such as this. You are a hero, protecting your own family, and caring for them. You will def. be in heaven's beat! Until we meet there, say hello to all the others we have lost!

To the family and friends:
I pray that you will lean on God during this time. No family should have to shoulder what you are having to at this time. Stay strong for one another. Two verses from the Bible may comfort you:
The Lord is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation.
Trust in the Lord with all thy heart, and lean not into thine own understanding.
I know from our family's tragedy that I kept feeling like it couldn't be happening and that it felt like a bad dream for so long. I pray that God will help you and strengthen you.
