Officer Camden,

I just wanted to let you know that I purposefully watched your procession, even if it meant possibly being late for work ( which I was almost but not quite ). It was a incredible motorcade. I hope you were able to watch it from heaven because I know it would have made you proud to see so many officers cared and wanted to be there. If I was an officer, I surely would have wanted to have been in your motorcade to honor you, but as I am not an officer yet ( although attempting the process with Killeen Police Department ) all I could do was stand along side the road and hold me hand over my heart. Again I continue to pray for you, your family, Temple PD and all who risk their lives for wellfare of others!

ITS SOUNDS LIKE THUNDER FAR AWAY...

It sounds like thunder far away, but the skies are blue and bright...
And soon they crest the hill nearby, and ride into our sight.
They shake the ground with powerful sound, and they make some hearts beat fast...
They look so proud and noble, like Knights come from the past.

Side by side, they always ride, and seem to move as one...
From early in the morning light, to the setting of the sun.
And children point and wave to them, from cars that pass them by...
And young ones ask their parents, why the men have mirrors for eyes.

They ride the roads, and fight for good, and defend small ones like you...
They ask to ride, and do with pride, and sometimes they are few.
Like men of steel, on Silver Wings, they sparkle in the light...
then with a roar and rumble, they ride out of our sight.

Sometimes when one has fallen, never to ride again...
You can hear the others calling, like thunder on the wind.
Side by side, they slowly ride, and their thunder is a mournful sound...
And the mirrors hide their eyes from us, when teardrops fall to ground.

So if you see one riding, and you look into his face...
You see your reflection in his eyes, you know that you are safe.
For motormen are a special breed, they love to ride the wind...
And when you hear the thunder boom, the fallen ones ride again.

Rest in peace bro and ride with the other blue angels above us!

Dave - Wasssssupp!!!!!!?,

Wow, I never expected it to be you when the call came out. The first thing I remembered was talking to you on Thursday about your sons. I'll always remember you talking about your sons and asking about mine. And the smile, I don't know how they took this picture without that smile.

Dave, whether it was riding around the mall giving "thumbs up", riding down the stairs at Sam's, working on the bikes, driving around talking about anything and everything at work, sitting in the North office taking a break, you always had that smile. You were always so easy-going and laid back. I always wondered how you did it.

We miss you bro. Remebered Forever Forever Remembered..

I was looking on-line when I cam across the story of David and it saddens me to here about the accident. As a brother in Law Enforcement, it always hurts to hear about another veteran officer loosing his life to protect others and pass away to an avoidable accident from another driver. As I am confident in going to heaven, I know in my heart that David is there and among the other law enforcement brothers that had passed on before him, and in one day we will all be able to meet up and live an eternal life together. Sorry for the loss. Daniel Sherman

To Officer Camden

Thank you for your service and may your roads in heaven be smooth and level under your wheels. Being a motorman, most people thing escorts are a easy thing to do, but to be on two wheels zipping thru traffic we rides know it is the most likely time we will lay our bike down. Rest in peace.

To Officer Camden family
This is a dark time for you , but think of things that will bring a smile to you, those thinks that identified and made him the man he was. My family prayers are with your family and we understand the feeling of lost you have, since we have just made it thru to the other side of our own dark time. You will cry more tears than you could every believe one could, but he will always be with you, that gentle wind which touches your cheek to dry your tears is him from heaven.
