Family of Officer Casey, I wish I could ease your pain. I cannot begin to imagine your sorrow. I will remember him and keep you all close to my heart as I pray for peace to come for you. We all know that card could be dealt, but I don't think any of us could ever be ready. Thank you for your service and sacrifice.

Officer Casey, thanks are not enough. I am honored that you would use your talents serve us. Please say hi to those we missed--I will never think of you all as lost. I know where you are.

Peace be with you all.

The Motor Officer,

The greatest accomplishment for a motor officer is the presentation of our motor wings. The honor and pride of wearing those wings cannot be described. Officer Casey wore his wings well. He served with honor and a commitment to making his streets safer for all. He has earned some new wings now, and heaven is a better place. Ride well Officer Casey. We will take it from here.
