Bobby Kozminski was my dearing uncle. He was very outgoing and very fun to be around, especially when i was a younger child. I cant even express how i feel about his death. Im still in shock. I had no idea what to think when i heard that he passed away. I didnt know what to say. Nothing i could've said couldnt of saved his life. When my mom told me that he had passed away. I bursted into tears. I couldnt even breahte. I didnt want to believe it. When i heard my dad [bobbys brother, dan kozminski] and my brother [bobbys newphew, taylor lamb] they were the worst ive heard them in years! Same goes to my Grandma [maria kozminski]. I couldnt even believe that, that was her. Ive never heard her like that in the 14 years ive been alive. I know that my brother, my dad, and my grandma loved Bobby very much. And that they wish that there was something they could do to bring them back, believe me, i wish there was something i could do to, but theres not one thing. I hope that my uncle knows that i loved him very much, and that i cared for him very much. We were very close when i was younger, and he always played with me when we saw eachother. I loved it how every time i seen him, he acted like he was the happiest person alive. He was one funny uncle, i tell ya. He always picked on his Niece's and Nephew's, but thats what every uncle does. He was the biggest Michigan fan you could ever imagine, just like the rest of the family. I pray for the best for my Uncles and Aunts, Cousins, my Grandma & Grandpa, Brother & Dad, and for his Daughter Kailey. Im proud that he died as a hero, but he will sure be missed.
Love,
Your Niece.

We recently lost a young police officer from our police department. It saddens me so, to see so many other officers, both prior to and now afterwards, also give the ultimate sacrifice as you have. My prayers go out to your young daughter, parents, siblings, family, friends, fellow brother and sister officers, and to the citizens that you so honorably served and protected. "A Hero does not become a Hero by their death, but by how they lived their life." I know the angels have taken you up in heaven, where as God has you 10-4 forever! God Bless!
