To the family of Officer Ogburn,
As I watched with horror the newscast that began to tell the story of this incident I began to pray for the families of the officers involved. As the surviving spouse of an officer killed in the line of duty (Officer Randy Zimmerman, Jacksonville PD, 1992) I know the pain that is only just beginning to become a part of your life as well as the officers who worked with the deputies involved.
Please know that those prayers will continue--along with many more from people who truly grieve with you.
God bless you,
Peggy Zimmerman

Deputy Ogburn,

My fondest memory of you was when you were at the Malakoff football fieldd being the security guard for Malakoff Youth Football Association. You were laughing at the cook about being slow about fixing hambugers. You were wanting a "good one". My thoughts and prayers are with your family and with the members of the law enforcement.

I have no doubt that GOD took the VERY BEST when he took you. You will forever be in my thoughts. REST IN PEACE!

Our Hero Of Blue

Our hero of blue has fallen
A time of peace is calling
For you to go with God above
He'll give you wings of blue with love
To send a message for everyone
To remember a life and what was done
A dream fulfilled of our angel of blue
We honor you for the job you swore to do
A promise was kept from a hero like you
You put your life on the line each day
To protect and serve in everyway
And to give you thanks we will do our part
To share your message and to keep you in our heart

This is dedicated to all Police Officers and Families
