My heart goes out to DS Gama's family, especially his wife and children. I lost my son-in-law to a drunk driver also. This will be a difficult time, but God will pull you through. It has been by faith and support from SAPD officers that my daughter and our family are surviving this terrible ordeal. Believe.

To the family of Deputy Gama. My department and I send our deepest sympathy not only to the immediate family of Deputy Gama but to the family of the LACSD. I feel for those of you that now have a void in your life. As did my department 11-03-03 when we lost a brothern Deputy. As Deputy Gama will now patrol the streets of heaven and his duties on earth be turned over to another. May God comfort those that lost your Deputy. Rest in peace Deputy Gama, your time to serve the Lords patrol has come.

Deputy Sheriff Gama May You Rest In Peace. As a mother of a Deputy shot in the line of duty I can honestly say I know what your mother and family are going through. I would like to be able to say it gets better, it don't. Your family is in my prayers.
