MAY GOD BLESS THOSE WHO MOURN THE LOST OF S/A RAHOI. MAY THEY KNOW THE LOVE AND COMFORT OF HIS SON JESUS CHRIST. TO MY FALLEN BROTHER, MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND MAY YOU REST IN PEACE. A HERO FOR SURE. YOU HAVE SERVED WELL, AND MAY YOU NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.

Greg was a classmate of mine at the Madison (WI) Police Department Police Academy. We began our careers together at MPD on Valentine's Day 1994. Greg was always motivated, energetic and friendly. Greg's enthusiasm was pervasive throughout the academy and on into his years of service with the MPD. The law enforcement profession is truly experiencing a great loss.

It takes something special to do what we do everyday, we suit up and go catch bad guys. We try to be optimists. Unfortunately, there are a few of us who will never make that date with retirement. By the very nature of our job, we are at risk everyday of losing our lives, either at the hand of some deranged individual or in some other situation that we, by virtue of our occupation, may be unable to avoid. Some people have recognized the hazardous duties we involve ourselves in, the risks we take, and the pride we take in accomplishing that job. Thank you for your service to this great country and our prayers will be with your family during these sad times.
