Praying for the Lord Himself to be a comfort to your family and brothers & sisters in blue during this sad time. Asking the God of heaven, in honor of your sacrifice, to make Colorado Springs a city where alcohol will become outlawed. Until then, know that this community appreciates your life, your service and the protection all police officers provide in enforcing The Law.

I wish to express my deepest sympathies to Officer Jordans Family Friends and to the Colorado Springs Police Department.
The officers of the Colorado Springs Police Department are ALL truely HEROS. It saddens me to lose a dedicated and courageous officer in such a senseless way.

Rest in Peace Officer Jordan a kind and likeable man. St. Michael the Patron Saint of Policemen has gained another to protect the throne of God, and I know that God will say to you Well Done my good and faithful servant.

Again my sympathies and prayers go out to The heros and their families

Officer Jordan, while I did not have the honor of meeting you I certainly enjoyed the protection you and your fellow officers offer our community. No words can express my sorrow for your family, friends, and fellow LE officer's loss. Thank you for your service to our community!
To officer Jordan's loved ones - while I have no words that could lessen your loss, perhaps you will find comfort in knowing this fine man and in knowing that in his all too short a life he made a difference for us all.
To the CS LE community, know that we, the citizens, stand with you in support and share your loss.

with respect and gratitude,

As a mom of two police officers I am reminded of a verse from the Bible which says "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13" Thank you Officer Jordan for your service in keeping our town a safer place to live. My sympathy goes to your family. You will always be remembered as a hero.

Ken,

I keep wishing this was a bad dream. What I wouldn't give to hear your voice again, to hear you call yet another one in custody for DUI.

Know that we will always miss you, and cherish the memories we have.

Ken, we met when we got hired together at Elk Grove Village Police Department almost 8 years ago. Although I only knew you briefly, it seemed you were meant to do this.
I was so saddened to hear about this tragic incident. You made quite an impression and I am so sorry I never had the opportunity to know you better. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Officer Jordan:

We never really met. Passed you on the elevator, saw you up in dispatch, most of all I remember you big grin and kind face. Thank you for doing what you do, to all your brothers and sister in blue keeping us safe and giving the ultimate sacrifice for all of us. God be with your family and your girlfriend during this terrible time. God's speed, watch over us and help us make sense of all this...I can't. My heart is breaking...the sadness is unbearable to all of us, another good soul lost because of a senseless act. May you rest in peace and know we are all here for your family.

December 7, 2006

Ken,
I don't know where to start... I've known you long enough to not remember meeting you. We've spent many fun times together. We've drifted apart but I miss you now and will always miss you. I remember as high school kids finding fun and often trouble in the strangest places, then after going sking and biking at the kettles. I even remember some of the stops in Dirty Nellies. You supported me during some emotional roller coaster rides and I thank you for that. I also thank you for the many good memories of my childhood.

My prayers are with you, your family, and all the people who you touched their lives and made a difference.

Thank you Ken.
