Well Jones its still hard without you here. I visit these reflections often but Ive never left one. I guess the memories that i want to keep are of us, the 2nd shift crew, the trouble makers!! We had a conversation the night before the traggic day at the PD, and now that I have left the city I know what you meant. SGT. Jones you are hero to us all no matter what they say.

Hey Bill,
Its been a while I am not to good at this type of stuff. It is not the same going to work and not meeting you at the office. I got promoted to detective a while back. I can say I hope I never work another case like yours. That has been the hardest by far in my ten years. Sometimes I can Still hear you laugh when someone pulls a bonehead stunt. I miss having you on my side when the chips are down. I will see you later.

Just think of him as resting from sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years. Think how he must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away. And think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched. Hey St Jones,

Just wanted to drop by to let you know that you are thought of everyday! Rockwood will never be the same again.
We lost the heart of our city when you were taken.
You are a wonderful person & an awesome officer. You always made a person feel better about their problems when they talked to you. We could walk away knowing everything was gonna work out. Everyone who ever met you was blessed by knowing you. A truly unique person, who loved everyone.
I still catch myself looking for you in police cars. I even did a double take the other day. I could have swore I saw you driving down the street drinking that coffee!
Keep watching over the guys & keep them safe!

Hey Sarg. Its 4:42 a.m. and I've been up all night looking at stuff on the internet concerning your death. Keahey made a good point the other day. He said that everytime something comes up about your death, they show thoughs 2 idiots pictures instead of yours. He said "they need to show more pictures of Jones, and less of the Houstons". I couldnt have said it better. There isnt a day that goes by that were arent telling stories about you. You are greatly missed sir. When I go to tammys your cat that you had named "Dog" haha, comes running to me and wants me to pet her. Tammy says that she cant get over it because the only person that your cat would have anything to do with was you. I'm always on her, making sure she takes care of dog...what a name for a cat hahaha. Well I'm going to hope off of here and lay down I guess, just wanted you to know that we miss you and will never forget you. Thank you for being there for me, you are a TRUE HERO.

YOU WORE YOUR JUMP WINGS WITH PRIDE, YOU HELPED THE YOUNGER OFFICERS ALL YOU COULD, AND THE "KIDDIES" ON THE STREET, NONE OF THEM WERE AFRAID OF YOU, THEY LOOKED FORWARD TO YOU DIGGING IN THAT CONSOLE FOR A PIECE OF CANDY OR GUM THAT YOU GOT "JUST FOR THEM!"
