It doesn't seem possible that all of these years have gone by since you left us. No matter how much time goes by, I still think about and miss you, buddy. I'll see you when I get there. Love ya!

Not a day goes by that I don't think of you, my brother. The memorials popped up today showing your picture with that cheesy grin. I look forward to the day that I get to see it again. Love ya' brother.

It’s gonna be Christmas, and it’s not right that you missed us all growing up and that you’re not here. I wish you were with us this winter.

Hey Troop,
You don't know me, I don't know you but I've been assigned to do a class project in the police academy and your story stuck out to me. I pray you are blessed and at peace. I hope you family is blessed and that they never want for anything. Thank you for all you've done in your time as a Peace Officer. From all the reflections I've read you were a stand up guy, I only wish you could've lived your life out to old age, but God has his own plans, and we may never know them. Rest easy

It's hard to imagine that it has been 11 years since you left us, Ed. There isn't a day that goes by in which I don't think of you and smile. I miss you, buddy...but I'm comforted in the knowledge that with each passing day it is just one closer to day I'll get to see you again. Until then, please help keep watch over us all.

Love ya, buddy.

Hey buddy...hope all is well. It's been a while since I have written, but that doesn't for a minute mean I've forgotten you. I'm so looking forward to the day that I get to see you again. Until then, I've got great memories!

Take care, my friend.

Edward,
I just finished reading most of your messages ...they are true to your character absolutely sincere and overwhelming. I want you to know first of all that your wife and son are in my daily prayers ---they always will be. My memories of you go back to EHS and the way you made us all laugh (not to mention your infatuation with Snoop). Those were carefree times of fun and freedom and you are in many memories. Then memories of you working US 281 while I was in FAL w/USBP....you were all over the place and we did what we could to keep an eye on you. You returned the favor by exercising Officer Discretion when I was running late to work---much appreciated I know it happen often. As you know, my sister was also a Trooper during the time of your accident and I can understand so much of what you endured. Please know that during your time on Earth you impacted many lives. Your memory is ever so present in the simplest of everyday occurrences and when you come to mind you bring a smile to my face---that’s how I’ll always see you. I’m grateful to have known you...Thank You.

It doesn't seem possible that 5 years have now gone by since one of the worst days of my life. I just wanted to drop by and tell you that I have not forgotten you, my friend. I don't think there is a day that goes by that you don't cross my mind. Fortunately, these days most of the memories are happy ones, which is good. Even though the anniversary of your leaving us brings back some of the bad memories, I refuse to let it get me down. I would prefer to celebrate your life...not your death.

Take care, Eddie. Keep watching over us and making us smile when we think about you! My life was made infinitely richer by having you as my friend. I love you and miss you, brother.
