Sweetheart,

I'm remembering every minute of our beautiful wedding day today and thanking God once more for giving me such an amazing husband. God tied a knot on this day that can never be broken!

"A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." - Ecclesiastes 4:12

Well I found you brother, I have been without you in my life for 22 years. I thought about you often. I needed to tell you how much you and your mother changed my life when helped me and you took me in when no one else wanted me. You will be in my heart forever. I'm sorry I waited so long to find you.

Sweetheart,
We heard a beautiful Easter service this morning. The pastor talked about God's promise back in the Garden of Eden that evil will be no match for the power of Jesus Christ! (Genesis 3:14-15)

It also filled me with that huge sense of peace that you are actually "experiencing" His promise while we are reading about!

Happy Easter my Love!
Yours forever

Brigitte

Sweetheart,

Although everything was changed for us that same sweet peaceful feeling of love is sealed between us forever. No filthy bad guy can ever steal it away...

Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame. ~Song of Solomon 8:6

Happy Valentine's Day

Just got back from the pig hunt. You were in our thoughts and stories around the campfire. Take care of Eric. I miss you brother.

Rob:
My thoughts wondered back to your service almost 4 years ago, after attending Eric's yesterday. I can't believe you have been gone that long, or I was at another funeral so soon for a fellow Gilbert officer. I have a little memorial on my wall at my desk with your picture, the Public Safety Memorial, as well as Pete's epic climb to honor you on Mt. Kilimanjaro. I also have Steve Benson's drawing of you....and now of Eric. I will never forget you both, your service and dedication!

Rob, we miss you very much. You would have been very proud of the warriors that captured the murderers that killed Eric. We were tenacious and never gave up, just like you trained us to be. Take care of Eric.

Sweetheart,

This holiday season has been exceptionally difficult for many reasons none the least of which is missing you. God continues to show us the ONLY thing we're in control of is our own attitude and reliance on Him. I continue to hold on to the sweet promise of seeing your handsome face again someday soon...

Loving you and missing you into a New Year.
Yours forever

Sweetheart,

It is so easy to love a man who you not only respect but deeply admire and look up to. I hope I told you that enough times... I know God is using you in Heaven as one of his special warriors along with all those other brave souls he has taken home so soon.
Loving you and missing you OH SO much!
Happy Veterans Day my Hero!

Rob,
I can't believe you have been gone over three years already. Where does the time go? We miss you so much. Your cousin Eric is down in Arizona now, and has been there for a couple of years. I wish so much that you were still there and he could come up to visit you on his days off. He was just enjoying getting to know you, and he and the boys have such fun memories of coming out to see you. They still go to the places you took them to, and fondly remember the good times you showed them. You introduced them to shushi (which they love, and I still haven't tried)and a whole host of other good things. Why you were taken just before they moved out there is beyond me, though I trust that God has his reasons. That doesn't make it much easier for us who are left behind though. You have a beautiful wife who has remained so strong through this trial. She is amazing, but you already knew that of course. Well, we love and miss you lots. Love, Aunt Becky

Robby,

Yesterday, Scott Perron and I completed another Patrol Rifle Course with 10 new rifleman. The Agust temps were extremely hot and these guys were absolutely exausted, dirty and disgusting from all the hard work they had done. As we were giving out completion certificates, We also gave them a "Robby Memorial Coin" along with thier certificate.
Scott mentioned that the coin represented you and your memory and the impact you had as a warrior and trainer with Gilbert PD. Many of the student officers were hired after you had already passed and so did not know you. Scott challenged them to keep the coin and recognize the huge footsteps you left behind which we must now fill. His words reminded me of when you went through the same class and how proud you were to be part of a warrior brotherhood.

I miss you Brother..
