I will pray for your family. My husband Officer Reaves was killed in the line of duty on Oct. 28th in Norfolk. We have 2 children - a daughter 5 and a son almost 2. It is hard to explain to them still. We have something in common because we both loved a hero. Remember to look to God for strength. I know right now it feels like a great part of you is missing. It has only been two weeks and 4 days since I lost my Stanley and God has given me so much strength. Remember to be strong for your son. One day we will see them again in heaven. God bless you and your son.

To the family, friends and co-workers of Officer Dickerson. I am truly sorry for your loss. There are no words to truly express the sadness I feel when confronted with an untimely death of a great person. The only thing I can truly say is know that you are not alone and that many are praying with you and for you in your time of need.

Officer Courtney Dickerson and I attended the Criminal Justice Training Academy together where Courtney earned an award in Physical Training and the Director's Award. Courtney was greatly loved by everyone who know him. He would do whatever he could to help out his "brothers and sisters". I will never forget him as long as I live. I now know that God does not make any mistakes because he took the best one and we all now have a very special angel watching over us. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Dickerson Family. Courtney...We love ya!!!!!

Today on Nov 14 I went to Officer Dickersons funeral. This was a reminder as a police officer that life is so precious and that we as officers never know when it will be time to answer to the Lord.
It is so amazing that as an officer no matter where from the support and comraderie is ever so present.
My heart felt sympathies to the friends, coworkers and family of Ofc. Dickerson. May you rest in peace brother officer.
