Son
Not a day goes by that you are not in our thoughts and prayers. Your memory lives on. Your brothers and sisters morn your loss on an hourly basis. The events of that horrible day is played over and over in our minds. We greive with the rest of the families this week. The pain that changes us forever is an emotion that all Police Families experience. There is no way to discribe the effect your lost has had on our lives. Kelly is in D.C. this week. We love her and wish her peace.
Love. Dad & Step-Mom, Paul & Phyllis Dragus

Missing you brother. I had lunch with Kelly a couple of months ago, she is such an awesome example of how strong a mother can , and has to be sometimes. I just visited the page of our brothers in Pittsburgh who were killed yesterday and it brought back so many feelings and emotions, We all miss you but take comfort knowing you are watching over us, You are remembered daily and never will be forgotten,

Your precious daughter is 12 today. I still can't believe you aren't here to see her and Kaden grow up. They are both like you in so many ways. I know that you are watching over them and love it that they are able to grow up together. We miss you and love you always....

Yesterday, I went to pick up some DVD's from the person who does our sound. He loaded them in my car and noticed my tag "3BAKR56" He then said, come back inside I have something to show you. He took me into an office and pulled a business card from the bulletin board...it was yours. He said he met you when you worked a burglary at his place. You made an impression on him as you have so many others that your life touched. There's not a day go by that I don't think of you. You have left your hand print on my heart and on the hearts of those who had the priviledge of knowing you. I miss you Jonathan.

I passed by the sign on the highway the other day that had the section of the expressway named in your honor. I never met you and do not know you or your family on a personal level, but have been praying for the entire Dragus family since the death of their hero Sgt Dragus on that sad day. Be assured Sgt Dragus that you are indeed a hero and forever will remain a hero. And the everyday public that you protected doing your job that day --have not forgotten your sacrifice. May you rest in peace Always.

3 years ago today our lives changed. We lost a great man, officer and friend. Our lives will never be the same. We dedicated a monument for you last night and it's beautiful. Hopefully all who see it will take a moment to Thank God for each and every moment they have with their family. May God Bless your coworkers as they remember the events of the day. So many times my mind wanders back to that day and I can remember them in such vivid detail. All so painful. But we remember the memories of you also and those are so precious.
I hope you and your family and friends know that your honor will live forever. I've done everything in my power to make sure that people know how much you were loved and that you are in our hearts forever. I'm honored to have been a part of the events that have occurred to honor you.
But we still miss you every single day!
