A Brother Warrior has fell and died today in battle.

It is a shame to have this happen right before the holidays. Officer Roberts will be remembered by all of his brothers and sisters in blue. I along with all my fellow officers on IPD north District were sad to here of 2 of our brothers being killed. Our prayers all with your families and your department.

Last summer I spent a week in Mishawaka and was very impressed with the department. My thoughts and prayers and those of all of the Miami Beach Police Department are with Corporal Roberts and Officer Verkler families, friends and co-workers.
