You were a year younger than me, too young to die. Another sad and
tragic day for law enforcement. Your death diminshes us all. Thank you
for your many years of selfless service and sacrifice. It is a long road
to healing that lies ahead, but I know that our Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ will extend His mercy and comfort to all who reach out to Him.
There is none greater than He. We don't get to Heaven based on what we
do, but what He did for us!! AMEN! There is now a huge void that cannot
be filled. God be with all those who mourn and may His promises lift all
those with heavy hearts for many years to come.

Psalm 23

The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.
Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.
