Trooper

MY condolence to the family, friends and co-workers of Deputy Charles Sease. We will remember.

Sr. Trooper Keith Miller
Oregon State Police

My dad is a retired Chicago P.D. ofc, and Command Sgt. Major, U.S. Army, Retired. My brother served several years as a C.O. And I have 18 yrs. in armed/unarmed Security, and will be testing at a late age for Police Ofc. next year. Also, several of my family have served and are still serving in the military, with 2 Marines in Iraq now. I have never lost a friend or fellow officer in my service career, and will do my best not to.
To the family of this great fallen hero, and the others on this site; my family's sincere regrets to the ofc's family. Rest in Peace, fallen hero. You will be one of my inspirations to become and stay a brave and great Police Ofc.
J. Frimet, Henderson, NV.

Thank you for your sacrifice.

Thank you for your service. I know no words can comfort your family and those you served with, both in Connecticut and Florida. I wish there were some some magical words that could make all the pain and anguish disappear but we all know there aren't. All of us brothers and sisters in blue can only continue the fight for the citizens we are sworn to protect and for the brothers and sisters that we have lost. Rest easy brother, you have served well.

"REST IN PEACE BRAVE WARRIOR, REST IN PEACE"

I have been a police officer for nine years and have never known this page existed. If not for the fact that our department layed to rest a Brave Warrior of our own,
officer Rodney Pocceschi who's EOW was June 23, 2003. I probably would still continue fighting crime every day blind to the fact that I had a place to pay tribute to the Fallen Brave Warriors of our profession. So again I come to this page with the heaviest of hearts and share your burden. I will gladly help you carry the weight of your loss in my heart, in my soul, and in my prayers, to assist your department, my fellow warriors, and the family of Deputy Sease if only to ease your pain. Spread your wings Deputy sease, spread your wings.

Detective W.B. Matos
Virginia Beach Police

Please remember the fallen officers we have lost. Remember the men and women who died trying to make this world a safer and better place for us all to live in. Thank you Deputy Sease for a job well done. Please continue to watch over us and protect us as only you can. You will forever be at our side and in our hearts.

For those of you who still have loved ones with us please take the time to tell them how much you appreciate and care about them.

IF I KNEW

If I knew it would be the last time
That I'd see you fall asleep,
I would tuck you in more tightly
and pray the Lord, your soul to keep.

If I knew it would be the last time
that I see you walk out the door,
I would give you a hug and kiss
and call you back for one more.

If I knew it would be the last time
I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise,
I would video tape each action and word,
so I could play them back day after day.

If I knew it would be the last time,
I could spare an extra minute
to stop and say "I love you,"
instead of assuming you would KNOW I do.

If I knew it would be the last time
I would be there to share your day,
Well I'm sure you'll have so many more,
so I can let just this one slip away.

For surely there's always tomorrow
to make up for an oversight,
and we always get a second chance
to make everything just right.

There will always be another day
to say "I love you,"
And certainly there's another chance
to say our "Anything I can do?"

But just in case I might be wrong,
and today is all I get,
I'd like to say how much I love you
and I hope we never forget.

Tomorrow is not promised to anyone,
young or old alike,
And today may be the last chance
you get to hold your loved one tight.

So if you're waiting for tomorrow,
why not do it today?
For if tomorrow never comes,
you'll surely regret the day,

That you didn't take that extra time
for a smile, a hug, or a kiss
and you were too busy to grant someone,
what turned out to be their one last wish.

So hold your loved ones close today,
and whisper in their ear,
Tell them how much you love them
and that you'll always hold them dear

Take time to say "I'm sorry,"
"Please forgive me," "Thank you," or "It's okay."
And if tomorrow never comes,
you'll have no regrets about today.

To My Fellow Co-worker and Friend, Chuck Sease.
Although I only knew you for a short time within the department you instantly became a friend and part of our department family. Your smile and laugh will always be remembered by all of us within the communications room and the entire department. This is the first deputy that the agency has lost while I have been there, however being in this line of work we all think about how are we going to react if something like this happens, I can only say that nothing I ever thought of could ever touch the emotions I am feeling now. My sympathy and prayers for Mrs. Sease, and his family. May you know how much Chuck touched everyone he came in contact with and how they will always remember the hero he truly was.
God Speed Chuck, and may you go rest High on the Mountain.
