Chuck,

I miss you man. It wasn't long ago we were in DC for police week and you were comforting me about Tanja. I know you had plans to get back there next year but I never thought it would be this way.. I promise you that we will never forget you. I will now have to make two stops every year. God Bless you brother.

Deputy Sease,
As a brother in Law Enforcement, your death touches me as it does every officer. We are the Thin Blue Line that separates the world from chaos. There is not a shift that goes by that I do not reflect on officers that have given the ultimate sacrafice for thier job. Rest in peace.

Officer John A. Foster

A day after our Independence Day, when all the country was enjoying a three day weekend, you stood the watch and personified the meaning of service. You walked the fine line between warrior and servant. God bless you Deputy Sease, and enjoy your beat on the street of heaven under his command. Please watch over us as the remaining peace officers continue the work here on Earth in your absence. God night, and rest easy, one of the chosen few.

Deputy Sease,

I mourn your loss; the loss of your life, the loss to your community, the loss to your comrades, and certainly the loss to your family. I hope that if you did not have the opportunity to know St. Michael in this cruel world that you are getting to know him in Heaven.

I am saddened that your death was the result of yet another fatal traffic stop. I pray that someday we will recognize and be permitted to use a safer method of dealing with what can sometimes be such catastrophic event. Being struck down while trying to help other deputies effect such a stop is becoming too familiar a reason to find a comrade's name on this board. You can trust that we will use your hard earned experience from the actions that took your life to educate others – to hopefully save their lives in similar situations.

God bless your eternal soul.

At the beginning of every shift I supervise, myself and the other officers on shift dedicate the day to the memory of a fallen officer. Tonight, July 5, 2003 we dedicated the shift to the memory of Deputy Chuck Sease who died in the line of duty just hours ago.

When one law enforcement officer falls, we all stumble for a while, but we will carry on.

Deputy Sease's sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Sgt. Paul Bissonnette

We set out on a journey everyday to make life better for others. We never fear the future, and look forward to the challenges ahead. Chuck made the ultimate sacrifice to Serve and Protect the people of Flagler County. We remember you as our Hero, who made the choice to wear the uniform proudly and to tackle all that others fear. My prayers go out to you and your family, as we mourn the loss of a great officer, and a great friend.

It saddens me deeply as I read about Deputy Chuck Sease. I just moved to Flagler Co. on Thursday 7/3/03 after retiring from the N.Y.P.D., and looking to further my career in Fl. On the way to my new house I observed 9 Flagler Co. RMPS n/b on 95 @ high speed and said a prayer for thier safe return. I checked ODMP later that night and was glad to see nobody on the list. Only to check today and see Deputy Sease there. There is no greater sacafice than laying your life down to protect others and to Deputy sease you are added to my list of HEROES. MAY YOU REST IN PEACE. and to Deputy Sease's Family MAY GOD BLEESS YOU and WATCH OVER YOU. You now have a larger family the ever before and we will be there for you when ever you need us. Lt.
