To the friends and family of Officer Warf:

I'm sorry to hear about your tragic loss. I'm sure that he touched many lives in the community, and will be greatly missed. I hope that in this difficult time ahead you can come together to comfort each other and keep his memory alive. God bless!

******************************

You helped countless people as they cried and bled
You saw the worst nightmares aren't those in your head

You took on a mission to protect and serve
Showed kindness to strangers most didn't deserve

You battled with evil and fought off dispair
You entertained angels, were you unaware?

You had many dinners so rushed and so cold
To be there for others through horrors untold

You missed time with family to answer the call
For the unknown person you always risked all

You gave us your best years for not enough pay
Your life was cut too short, we know that today

We cherish each memory no matter how small
Your smile and your laughter were gifts to us all

We take comfort knowing you now see God's face
But beside us is still this sad, empty space

For a few days at least the media shows
The grief that engulfs us, the pain as it grows

The public pays homage to a hero lost
For our safety, our lives we now see the cost

We pray that some will see past your uniform
A husband, a father with a heart so warm

People comfort each other as best as they can
How can we get over the loss of this man?

Today we say goodbye, hero, "brother in blue"
You are so loved and missed, we won't forget you!

Thank you, Officer Warf, for all of the sacrifices that you made to make the world a better place to be in!

What a tragic set of circumstances! How sad for both of these victims;
another tragedy that leaves our hearts heavy and our lives
burdened. I come to this site often and what is more of a burden to me
than the officers down is the messages I read that assume that becuz a
person is a police officer or a good person, he has earned himself a
place in Heaven. The Bible never teaches this. What it does teach is
that Jesus Christ paid the penalty for our sin by His shed blood and it
is only thru our faith in Him that we are guaranteed a place in Heaven.
So, to be with God and our Savior Jesus Christ in Heaven, one only
needs to make a reservation. Prayer of salvation, if you do not have
Jesus in your life pray this prayer and believe...."whosoever shall call
upon the name of the Lord shall be saved"(Romans 10:13)

Dear God,I know that Jesus was Your son,and He died on the cross and
was raised from the dead. I know I have sinned and need forgiveness. I
am willing to turn away from my sins and receive Jesus as my Savior
and Lord. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
No one knows when they will die so it's a good idea to have this
assurance policy in the event of an untimely death like Officer Warf.
My heart grieves for his tremendous sacrifice, for his wife and young
child, for his family and for his law enforcement family. There are no
words to express my deep sorrow, but I know the God of the universe
sees all and knows all and can comfort you in your time of need if you
will just turn towards Him. God bless each and every one of you who
grieves and aches and doesn't know what to do with the pain. Our
hearts go out to all of you. My condolences from one coast of America
to the other.

"THE POLICEMAN'S TRIBUITE"

A man in blue has lost his life
in service of the law.
The love tht makes this sacrifice
is the greatest love of all.

A police man died today,
the reason why we cannot say,
We don't know why he had to die.
The man in blue died for me and you;
we must remember him, too.

Flags fly low, let us bow in prayer
for fallen police men everywhere;
and remember this;
that they are missed.
The badge burns bright like an evening star
free from a world of war.

Warf,

Hey buddy! I'm missing you greatly, I still can't believe your gone. When I found out Saturday moring it hit me hard, but by Sunday I just thought it had been a bad nightmare. I was in denial until seeing you lying there in the coffin. God Warf, why did it have to be you?! You can't be gone! You've been around for too long to just be gone for good! You have to be around to help me w/ that "problem" you talked me into. There's no one else who can do it.

I know that you'll be watching over us all down here trying to go on w/ our lives w/out you. And we'll be sure to take care of your little man (I never realized how much he was the spitten image of you). We'll let him know just how much you loved him and how you were a "proud papa", always talking about him. But, just know this as well, you are going to be missed forever, you will always be here with us in our hearts, and we loved you!!!!!!!!
